Questions about buying the Bambu Lab H2D Basic in Australia
Is the Bambu Lab H2D Basic genuine Australian stock?
Yes. Every Bambu Lab H2D Basic we sell is genuine Australian stock held in our Sydney warehouse — not a grey import. 3D BRO is a certified Bambu Lab reseller in Australia.
What warranty and support do I get?
A 12-month national warranty, handled locally. 3D BRO is one of the first officially authorised Bambu Lab service and repair centres in Australia (authorised January 2026), so warranty work and technical help happen in Sydney, not overseas. Phone support: (02) 9772 4315, Mon–Fri 9:30am–5pm.
Can I pick it up in Sydney?
Yes. Choose pickup at checkout to collect from our Regents Park, Sydney warehouse and skip the courier fee. We email you as soon as your order is ready to collect.
How is a printer shipped?
In-stock printers are usually dispatched within 1 business day from our Regents Park, Sydney warehouse by tracked courier (Direct Freight, TOLL or Allied Express). Printers are not included in free shipping: delivery is $15 per printer within the Sydney area and $30 per printer to the rest of Australia. You receive a tracking number by email once it leaves the warehouse. Please inspect the carton on arrival and contact us within 24 hours if anything is damaged.
Which filament should I use with it?
Any standard 1.75 mm filament. Most of our Bambu Lab H2D Basic customers add BIQU PLA Go — our Mix & Match offer gives bulk pricing on 10 or more rolls, and it ships with the printer. See Mix & Match
Is 3D BRO an authorised Bambu Lab reseller?
Yes. 3D BRO PTY LTD is a certified Bambu Lab reseller and an officially authorised service and repair centre in Australia, supporting education, business and consumer customers with local knowledge and after-sales service.

The Bambu Lab H2D is a large-format, enclosed dual-nozzle 3D printer for engineering parts, multi-material work and small-batch production. Two independent nozzles reach 350°C over a 120°C heatbed inside an actively heated 65°C chamber, which is what makes ABS, ASA, PC, PA and carbon- or glass-fibre reinforced materials practical rather than merely possible. This listing is the printer on its own, without an AMS.
Bought from 3D BRO — a Bambu Lab authorised reseller and Australia's authorised service centre — with local warranty assistance and technical support from our Sydney team.
Who the H2D is for
- Choose the H2D if you print functional parts in engineering materials, need a build volume beyond 256 mm, or want two materials in one job without a purge-heavy single-nozzle workflow.
- Choose the H2D Combo instead if you also want automatic multi-colour printing — it is the same printer with an AMS 2 Pro included.
- Consider the P1S or P2S instead if you mainly print PLA and PETG at 256 mm or smaller and do not need a heated chamber.
- Consider the H2D Pro instead if you want a tungsten carbide nozzle and wired Ethernet on the same chassis.
Why the heated chamber matters
Most desktop printers manage ABS and ASA by trapping whatever heat the bed gives off. The H2D actively heats the chamber to 65°C, which keeps the whole part near a consistent temperature as it grows. That is what reduces warping on tall parts and cracking between layers, and it is the single biggest reason an engineering-material print succeeds or fails.
The 350°C all-metal hotend and hardened steel nozzle extend the same logic to abrasive and high-temperature filaments — carbon- and glass-fibre reinforced PA, PET, PC and PPS are all on Bambu Lab's supported list for this machine.
Dual nozzle, in practice
The second nozzle is not only about colour. Assigning a support material to one nozzle and the model material to the other removes the purge tower that dominates single-nozzle multi-material printing, so a two-material job wastes a fraction of the filament it otherwise would. Combining a rigid material with TPU in one part is possible for the same reason.
Note that the dual-nozzle build volume is slightly narrower than the single-nozzle volume — 300 mm versus 325 mm on the X axis — because the second toolhead needs room to park.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between the H2D Basic and the H2D Combo?
The printer is identical. The H2D Combo adds an AMS 2 Pro for automatic multi-colour and multi-material printing with filament drying. You can add an AMS 2 Pro to this machine later.
Does the H2D need a heated chamber for ABS and ASA?
It has one. The chamber heats actively to 65°C, which is why ABS, ASA and fibre-reinforced engineering materials print reliably on this machine rather than needing workarounds.
Can the H2D print carbon fibre filament?
Yes. The stock nozzle is hardened steel and the hotend is all-metal, so carbon- and glass-fibre reinforced materials are supported without a nozzle change.
How is the H2D different from the H2D Pro?
Same chassis, build volume, temperatures, speed and cameras. The H2D Pro ships with a tungsten carbide nozzle instead of hardened steel and adds wired Ethernet; the H2D offers an optional high-flow hotend that the Pro sheet does not list.
Do you support the H2D in Australia?
Yes. 3D BRO is a Bambu Lab authorised reseller and an authorised service and repair centre, with technical support and warranty assistance handled locally from Regents Park, Sydney.
