3D BRO is an Authorised Bambu Lab Reseller and Sydney's Bambu Lab Authorised Service Centre. Every Bambu Lab printer, AMS and accessory we sell is covered by the Bambu Lab manufacturer's warranty, and warranty repairs are carried out locally by our own technicians — you deal with us, not an overseas support queue.

Please keep your order confirmation, tax invoice or store receipt. Proof of purchase issued by 3D BRO (or another Bambu Lab authorised distributor) is required for any warranty service.

Warranty period of products and main parts

The warranty period starts on the day the original customer receives the product. In Australia the manufacturer's warranty is 12 months for all Bambu Lab printers, AMS / AMS lite / AMS 2 Pro / AMS HT units, and the Laser Module 10W / 40W and Cutting Module. Some parts carry a limited 3-month warranty, and consumables are not covered (see below).

Limited warranty period (3 months)

Parts listed under Main components — 3 Months are covered for the first 3 months after you receive the product.

Consumables (no warranty)

Consumables are items that inherently wear out during normal use — hotends and nozzles, build plates, PTFE tubes, filament cutters, filters, desiccant and similar. They do not carry their own warranty period, but if one fails because of a manufacturing defect while the printer itself is still under warranty, we are happy to replace it. That decision is made case by case by 3D BRO and Bambu Lab and is final.

Other points to note

  • Requests made after the periods above are treated as a waiver of the right to return or replace, unless you can show that extraordinary circumstances prevented you from contacting us in time.
  • Non-delivery must be reported within 30 days of the shipping date.
  • A replacement part does not reset the warranty — the original warranty period continues to apply.
  • While a product is with us for repair or replacement (including transit both ways), the warranty clock is paused. Your warranty is extended by the number of days the product was away.
  • Where we approve a DIY installation of a free replacement part, that repair remains covered as part of the product warranty.
  • Bambu Lab printers have regional restrictions. Units purchased from 3D BRO are the Australian region version; products taken to another country and serviced there are not covered, and unauthorised service voids the warranty.
  • Damage caused by third-party accessories, or to third-party accessories, is not covered. Neither is damage caused by unofficial firmware or by modifying firmware with unofficial tools.

How to make a warranty claim

All warranty, return and replacement requests must be lodged with 3D BRO first — please do not ship anything back until we have confirmed the request and given you a return address. Items returned without an approved request may be lost, and we cannot accept responsibility for them.

  1. Contact us via our contact page, email sales@3dbro.com.au, or visit any 3D BRO store.
  2. Include your proof of purchase — order number, tax invoice or receipt.
  3. Describe the issue with clear evidence: photos, a short video and, where relevant, printer log files. This lets us diagnose most problems remotely and ship parts or book a repair straight away.

If your printer shows smoke, unusual noises or a part comes loose, power it off immediately and contact us before doing anything else. Please do not attempt repairs on your own unless our support team has instructed you to — unguided repairs can void the warranty and may be unsafe.

Products bought from another retailer or marketplace are covered by that seller's own return and warranty process, but as a Bambu Lab Authorised Service Centre we can still help with out-of-warranty and chargeable repairs for any Bambu Lab printer.

Return & refund policy

We accept a return for refund when

  • Within 30 days of delivery the product has a critical failure, manufacturing defect or functional issue.
  • Within 30 days of delivery the product was substantially damaged in transit and the carrier's damage report can be provided.
  • Within 30 days of delivery the product is unopened, unactivated and still in new condition (change of mind).

We cannot accept a return when

  • The request is made more than 30 days after delivery.
  • Accessories, cables, filament, manuals or other in-box items are missing, or any item shows cracks, dents or scratches (confirmed transit damage excepted).
  • Our inspection finds the fault was caused by user error — drops, incorrect voltage, liquid damage and similar.
  • The product is found to have no fault after testing.
  • Proof of purchase is not provided, or appears to have been altered.

Good to know

  • Returned products are inspected before a refund is issued. If a product returned as faulty is found to work normally after full testing, the return shipping cost is deducted from the refund.
  • Refunds are processed once the goods reach our warehouse or store. Missing items (accessories, cables, filament) are deducted from the refund.
  • Returning a non-defective consumable — for example a clogged hotend or extruder — within 30 days is at your own shipping cost.
  • Once a return is approved, please ship the product back within 14 days as instructed; after that the return request lapses. If a return is declined, we can ship the product back to you at your cost.

Replacement policy

We provide a replacement when

  • Within 30 days of delivery the product was substantially damaged in transit (carrier damage report required).
  • Within 30 days of delivery you received the wrong product.
  • Within 30 days of delivery the product has a critical failure or manufacturing defect.

We cannot provide a replacement when

  • The request is made more than 30 days after delivery.
  • The product is not returned with all original packaging, accessories, cables, filament and manuals in new or like-new condition.
  • The fault was caused by user error, or no fault is found after testing (return shipping at your cost if you want the unit back).
  • Transit damage was not reported within 7 days of delivery, or no carrier damage report is available.
  • Damage was caused by force majeure — fire, flood, lightning, accident and the like.
  • Proof of purchase is not provided, or appears to have been altered.
  • The warranty on a replacement unit starts on the day you receive it.
  • All replaced products must be returned in their original packaging — poor packing can void the warranty and may be charged for.
  • Once a replacement is approved, please ship the original product back within 14 days as instructed.

Repair policy

As an Authorised Service Centre, our technicians repair Bambu Lab printers on site in Sydney using genuine parts. Within the warranty period we will gladly repair, free of charge, a product that:

  • has been used normally and has developed a fault that was not caused by the user; or
  • has a functional failure due to a manufacturing or workmanship defect.

Warranty repair does not cover

  • Transit damage that was not rejected on delivery or reported to the carrier, where no damage report can be provided.
  • Failures caused by accidents, drops, abuse, misuse, flood, fire, earthquake, spills, incorrect power supply or other external causes.
  • Damage from using the product outside the uses permitted or intended by Bambu Lab.
  • Products or parts modified to significantly change their function or capability without Bambu Lab's written permission.
  • Product labels, serial numbers or waterproof marks that show signs of tampering.
  • Missing or altered proof of purchase.
  • Cosmetic wear and scratches that do not affect performance and are not manufacturing defects.
  • Damage caused by skipping the regular maintenance in Bambu Lab's Maintenance Guides, or by not following the prescribed procedures (cleaning, lubrication and so on).
  • Damage caused by installing or operating the printer contrary to Bambu Lab's official documentation — user manuals, on-screen instructions and interface warnings.

Out-of-warranty and non-covered repairs are still welcome — we will quote parts and labour before starting any chargeable work.

Packaging & shipping a printer back

  • Use the original packaging. It gives by far the best protection. If you no longer have it, ask us for packing instructions or Bambu Lab-approved packaging before shipping. Damage caused by inadequate packaging may lead to additional repair charges or loss of coverage.
  • Prepaid labels. For quality-related warranty claims we provide a prepaid return label where available. The label is only valid from the address or postcode given in your return instructions — if you need to ship from somewhere else, contact us for an updated label first.
  • Drop-off. Sydney customers can bring printers directly to a 3D BRO store — no shipping required.
  • A tracking number alone is not proof of delivery. Warranty service begins once the product has been physically received and inspected by us.

Limited warranty when using laser modules

To keep warranty coverage, the laser module and surrounding components must be cleaned after every use, and the printer's ventilation and exhaust components must be maintained regularly. Smoke, soot and debris build up quickly and can cause overheating, deposits or permanent discolouration.

  • Cosmetic changes from smoke and heat during engraving — discolouration or residue — do not affect function and are not covered.
  • Damage from improper cleaning, neglect, inadequate ventilation or excessive smoke build-up is not covered.
  • Before using a laser module, read the Quick Start Guide, Terms of Use, Disclaimer and Laser Safety Guidelines. They cover laser safety, chemical handling, fire precautions and electrical safety.
  • Any user-installed fire suppression must use only certified pure CO2 extinguishers within their service period. Dry powder, foam, water-based or other extinguishers that leave corrosive residue or cause electrical damage are strictly prohibited, and any resulting damage (for example internal corrosion of the laser module) is not covered.

Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

The Bambu Lab manufacturer's warranty described on this page is in addition to, and does not limit, your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Where the law provides a longer or broader remedy than this policy, the law applies.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in Bambu Lab's warranty terms or our own service procedures. Updates are published on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of our products or services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
