Questions about buying the Bambu Lab H2D Combo in Australia
Is the Bambu Lab H2D Combo genuine Australian stock?
Yes. Every Bambu Lab H2D Combo we sell is genuine Australian stock held in our Sydney warehouse — not a grey import. 3D BRO is a certified Bambu Lab reseller in Australia.
What warranty and support do I get?
A 12-month national warranty, handled locally. 3D BRO is one of the first officially authorised Bambu Lab service and repair centres in Australia (authorised January 2026), so warranty work and technical help happen in Sydney, not overseas. Phone support: (02) 9772 4315, Mon–Fri 9:30am–5pm.
Can I pick it up in Sydney?
Yes. Choose pickup at checkout to collect from our Regents Park, Sydney warehouse and skip the courier fee. We email you as soon as your order is ready to collect.
How is a printer shipped?
In-stock printers are usually dispatched within 1 business day from our Regents Park, Sydney warehouse by tracked courier (Direct Freight, TOLL or Allied Express). Shipping is calculated at checkout — printers and AMS units are excluded from the free-shipping offer. You receive a tracking number by email once it leaves the warehouse. Please inspect the carton on arrival and contact us within 24 hours if anything is damaged.
Which filament should I use with it?
Any standard 1.75 mm filament. Most of our Bambu Lab H2D Combo customers add BIQU PLA Go — our Mix & Match offer gives bulk pricing on 10 or more rolls, and it ships with the printer. See Mix & Match
Is 3D BRO an authorised Bambu Lab reseller?
Yes. 3D BRO PTY LTD is a certified Bambu Lab reseller and an officially authorised service and repair centre in Australia, supporting education, business and consumer customers with local knowledge and after-sales service.

The Bambu Lab H2D Combo pairs the large-format dual-nozzle H2D with an AMS 2 Pro, so multi-colour and multi-material printing is automatic and the filament is kept dry between jobs. Two nozzles at 350°C over a 120°C bed in an actively heated 65°C chamber, plus four AMS slots that can be expanded to twenty-four.
Bought from 3D BRO — a Bambu Lab authorised reseller and Australia's authorised service centre — with local warranty assistance and technical support from our Sydney team.
What the AMS 2 Pro adds
The AMS 2 Pro holds four spools and feeds them to the printer automatically, so a four-colour model runs unattended. Its built-in drying function matters more than the colour count for anyone printing PA, PET or PC: those materials absorb moisture from the air and print badly once they have, and a heated AMS keeps them usable between jobs instead of requiring a separate dryer.
Because the H2D has two nozzles, the AMS is not the only path to a second material. A common production setup is model material through the AMS on one nozzle and a dedicated support material on the other, which removes most of the purge waste that multi-material printing normally generates.
Who the H2D Combo is for
- Choose the H2D Combo if you want both the engineering capability of a heated-chamber dual-nozzle machine and hands-off multi-colour printing.
- Choose the H2D on its own if you print single-material functional parts and would rather add an AMS later.
- Consider the P2S Combo instead if 256 mm is enough build volume and you do not need a heated chamber or a second nozzle.
- Consider the H2D Laser Full Combo 40W if you also want laser engraving and cutting on the same machine.
Why the heated chamber matters
Active chamber heating to 65°C keeps a growing part near a consistent temperature, which is what prevents the warping and layer cracking that make ABS, ASA and fibre-reinforced materials unreliable on printers that only trap residual bed heat. Combined with the 350°C all-metal hotend and hardened steel nozzle, that puts PA, PC, PPS and carbon- or glass-fibre reinforced grades within normal use rather than at the edge of what the machine can do.

Frequently asked questions
How many colours can the H2D Combo print?
Four out of the box with the included AMS 2 Pro. Adding further AMS units takes it to 24 filament slots; the practical limit for a single job also depends on the materials involved and how much purging each change requires.
Does the AMS 2 Pro dry filament?
Yes. Drying is built in, which is the main reason it suits PA, PET and PC — those absorb moisture from the air and print poorly once they have.
Can I run TPU through the AMS?
Softer flexibles are not suited to a standard AMS path. Bambu Lab's TPU for AMS is the grade intended for it; softer TPU is better fed from an external spool holder, and on the H2D you can dedicate the second nozzle to it.
What is the difference from the H2D Basic?
Only the AMS. The H2D Basic is the same printer without one.
Do you support the H2D in Australia?
Yes. 3D BRO is a Bambu Lab authorised reseller and an authorised service and repair centre, with technical support and warranty assistance handled locally from Regents Park, Sydney.
