What is the Bambu Lab H2C Combo?

The H2C Combo is a large-format, enclosed multi-material 3D printer built around Bambu Lab’s Vortek hotend-change system. Six interchangeable induction hotends work with a second standard nozzle to reduce repeated purging during colour and material changes, while a 350°C nozzle, 120°C heatbed and 65°C actively heated chamber support demanding production workflows.

Why choose the H2C?

  • Lower-purge multi-material printing: materials can remain assigned to separate hotends, reducing repeated nozzle cleaning and material waste during changes.
  • Up to seven materials in one print: six induction hotends plus the second standard nozzle support advanced colour, support and functional-material combinations.
  • Up to 24 managed filaments: expanded AMS configurations can manage up to 24 filaments; additional AMS units and matched hotends are required.
  • Large build capacity: up to 330 × 320 × 325 mm total two-nozzle workspace for large models and production parts.
  • Engineering-material capability: the heated enclosure and high-temperature nozzle help control warping and layer adhesion with compatible technical materials.
  • Automated monitoring: multiple cameras and filament-path sensors help detect extrusion, feeding and print-start issues.

Is the H2C the right Bambu Lab printer for you?

Choose the H2C if reducing purge waste, combining several colours or functional materials, printing large parts and maintaining an enclosed engineering workflow justify the higher purchase price.

Consider another model if you mainly print PLA in one or two colours, have a smaller workspace or prioritise a lower upfront cost. For a closer alternative, read our Bambu Lab H2C vs X2D Australia comparison.
