Questions about buying the Bambu Lab A2L in Australia
Is the Bambu Lab A2L genuine Australian stock?

Yes. Every Bambu Lab A2L we sell is genuine Australian stock held in our Sydney warehouse — not a grey import. 3D BRO is a certified Bambu Lab reseller in Australia.

What warranty and support do I get?

A 12-month national warranty, handled locally. 3D BRO is one of the first officially authorised Bambu Lab service and repair centres in Australia (authorised January 2026), so warranty work and technical help happen in Sydney, not overseas. Phone support: (02) 9772 4315, Mon–Fri 9:30am–5pm.

Can I pick it up in Sydney?

Yes. Choose pickup at checkout to collect from our Regents Park, Sydney warehouse and skip the courier fee. We email you as soon as your order is ready to collect.

How is a printer shipped?

In-stock printers are usually dispatched within 1 business day from our Regents Park, Sydney warehouse by tracked courier (Direct Freight, TOLL or Allied Express). Shipping is calculated at checkout — printers and AMS units are excluded from the free-shipping offer. You receive a tracking number by email once it leaves the warehouse. Please inspect the carton on arrival and contact us within 24 hours if anything is damaged.

Which filament should I use with it?

Any standard 1.75 mm filament. Most of our Bambu Lab A2L customers add BIQU PLA Go — our Mix & Match offer gives bulk pricing on 10 or more rolls, and it ships with the printer. See Mix & Match

Is 3D BRO an authorised Bambu Lab reseller?

Yes. 3D BRO PTY LTD is a certified Bambu Lab reseller and an officially authorised service and repair centre in Australia, supporting education, business and consumer customers with local knowledge and after-sales service.

Bambu Lab A2L — large-format printing without the large-format price

The A2L gives you a 330 × 320 × 325 mm build volume — roughly double the usable space of a 256 mm class machine — in an open-frame printer aimed at makers rather than engineers. A full-size helmet in one piece, or a tray of forty small parts in one run, without slicing the model into sections.

Sold and supported by 3D BRO, a certified Bambu Lab reseller and one of the first officially authorised Bambu Lab service and repair centres in Australia. Dispatched from our Regents Park warehouse in Sydney.

Two versions

  • A2L — the printer on its own. Single colour, single material.
  • A2L Combo — the printer plus the AMS unit for automatic multi-colour and multi-material printing. Choose this if you want colour changes without standing over the machine.

Current prices for both are shown above. Buying the Combo up front costs less than adding the AMS later.

Who this suits — and who it does not

A good fit if you print large cosplay pieces, helmets, terrain, batches of small parts, or anything you are currently slicing into sections to fit a smaller bed; you work mainly in PLA and PETG; and you want the biggest build area you can get at this price.

Look at an enclosed P or H series machine instead if you need ABS, ASA, PC or nylon. The A2L is open-frame with an 80 °C heatbed, and Bambu Lab does not list those materials for it — see the material table below. Carbon-fibre PLA and PETG are supported but need a hardened steel nozzle, sold separately.

Materials — what it is rated for

Rating Materials
Suitable for printing PLA, PETG, TPU, PVA
Suitable with a hardened steel nozzle PLA-CF, PETG-CF
Not listed by Bambu Lab ABS, ASA, PC, PA

This is Bambu Lab's own rating. The A2L has no enclosure and an 80 °C bed, so high-shrinkage and high-temperature materials are not part of its design envelope. If those matter to you, talk to us before ordering.

Delivery, warranty and support

  • Dispatched from our Regents Park warehouse in Sydney, Monday to Saturday. Delivery is typically 1–3 business days within Australia depending on your address.
  • 3D printers are not included in free shipping. Delivery is $15 per printer within the Sydney area and $30 per printer to the rest of Australia.

  • Local pickup is available — check the current pickup options at checkout.

Frequently asked questions

How much bigger is the A2L than an A1 or P1S?
The A2L build volume is 330 × 320 × 325 mm against 256 × 256 × 256 mm on the A1 and P1S — roughly double the usable volume.

Should I buy the A2L or the A2L Combo?
Buy the Combo if you want multi-colour or multi-material prints. If you print in one colour at a time, the standalone A2L does the same job for less.

Can it print ABS or ASA?
Bambu Lab does not list ABS, ASA, PC or nylon for the A2L. It is an open-frame machine with an 80 °C bed. For those materials you want an enclosed printer.

Can it print carbon fibre filament?
PLA-CF and PETG-CF are supported, but you need a hardened steel nozzle. The stainless nozzle supplied will wear quickly on abrasive filament.
